Here’s the role: Full-time Automation Engineer at a 43 North portfolio start-up, Mod Tech Labs, a B2B enterprise software company making cutting-edge tools for the media and entertainment industry.

The Automation Engineer rockstar for this role will take their python coding skills to the next level by automating and interconnecting systems that will orchestrate complicated production workflows. This makes it possible for our clients to make 3D easy and deliver more content for movies, games, and more- a core value of our business. You will be working with the CTO as the architect of this system and help document and propose novel solutions so that our team can grow together. You will be responsible for API connections with integrations, hooking into the UI, and utilizing containers to deploy systems where our clients need them.
Position is on-site in Buffalo, NY or remote for the right candidate.
Salary Range
- $90-$110k (annually)

What You Will Do:
- Python development
- Airflow automation of tools to frontend
- API connections to UI
- API interconnectivity with other integrations
- Working with Airflow to chain tasks together
- Use of Kubernetes and Docker to deploy systemes locally and remotely
- Project management tracking, reporting, and documentation
What You Will Bring:
- 2-5 years of professional experience in similar environments
- Extensive work with Automation such as Airflow/Luigi/Celery
- API integration like FastAPI(preferred)/ Django
- Experience in On Premise (baremetal) using Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Experience with Agile methodology

The Unity Developer extraordinaire in this role will take their experience in Unity and apply it directly to solving industry wide issues of overly complicated workflows. Making it possible for our clients to make 3D easy and deliver content more simply for movies, games, and more- a core value of our business. You will be working with the CTO as the architect of this system and a UI designer. Your help in documentation and novel solutions will help our team grow together.
Position can be on-site in Buffalo, NY or remote for the right candidate.

- $70k-$105k (annually)
